These are NOT stainless steel...They are magnetic, proving otherwise.Other reviews have stated this, but I somehow missed the reviews until too late to return.AMAZON! Fix the labeling, or remove this from the market.

The nuts came as carbon steel verses 304 stainless steel. and I’m thinking, Amazon simply substituted the carbon steel for the stainless steel as it was easier to fill the order. And the $6 it cost to purchase the nuts Was not worth the time to send them back. Amazon, you need to address this inside your own doors if Amazon filled the order. Any feedback would be appreciated as to how this occurred. Quite honestly, I would’ve preferred not to receive the nuts if this was the case.

these are not stainless steel. they are clearly described as stainless which is straight up misleading, probably on purpose. rubbish. would give zero stars, but 1 is the minimum

The locknuts work well, but the package only contained 49 in each of the two packages i bought.

I don't know what these are made of. They will be picked up by a magnet and I believe 304 stainless is non-magnetic. It does not say stainless on the package. Used them on my boat. Time will tell. But they don't look stainless.Update. I put one in a dish of salt water for a couple of weeks and it rusted.
