I now have two of these I use for my repeater. For me living in the woods I needed to get up over the trees, and the length of these helps to achieve that.SWR out of the box was 1.2 but of course they can be adjust to get that lower which I had no problem doing, just in case you get one that ends up a bit higher once you get it all setup with the mast and coax which happens sometimes. Both antennas I received were complete and so easy to setup a cave man can do it.Shipping was faster then projected on both antennas.I think the main issue is going to be the length and wind. They do sway quite a bit which I’ve had happen already with roughly 40mph gust and it held up no problem. I wrapped black electrical tape around the mast ever 8 inches nice and thick just in case one should crack. But I live very upstate and the winter months bring 40 to 60 mph gusts.First one I purchased I’ve made contacts in Syracuse 60 mile south, and the same into Rochester across Lake Ontario, so these reach out ant touch someone if set up properly. So obviously I do recommend these, great antennas.WRVC482 Zello: Upstate_Ny_Gmrs_Repeter

Easy to assemble, perfect swr, 1.00 on the button. Had a qso on gmrs repeater 79 LOS miles full quieting. Use the wrenches provided in the package to tighten joints. Use waterproofing tape at cable connection. 49.913 output watts Equals 732.325 ERP watts based on vswr readings. The advertised dbd gain is true and accurate. 3 5/8 elements makes all the differnce in long range communications. Buy in confidence!

I was skeptical but it exceeded my expectations and SWRs were low

Antenna is 3 stacked 5/8 waves. Decent gain, swr flat across the entire band at 1.05 to one. Weak points are where the elemnts themselves secure to each other and the joints of the fiberglass covering. Secure the sections tightly, and seal the joints with coaxseal or similiar product. Works great so far.
