UPDATE: Dropped to one star. Died less than 2 months after I bought it. The seller offered a replacement but has yet to actually ship it. And I'm having a hard time filing a claim with Asurion on the warranty I purchased.I purchased several "HUD" type devices. After trying them all, I decided to keep this one even though it was the most expensive. I really like the built in reflective screen that doesn't require sticking something to my windshield. I was looking for one that shows speed and time but isn't cluttered with a bunch of other info. This one is perfect. The time is really big and easy to see. The speed is a few seconds behind but is spot-on accurate. It's low profile so it doesn't interfere with the view out my windshield. All-in-all, I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. Based on one review, I also purchased the 3-year extended warranty. Hopefully I won't need it.

This windshield Speedometer projector is small and compact. It projects images on the plastic transparent plate on the front of the projector, not projecting on the windshield. But it is nice to see my driving speed and directions. The usb power input is on the back side of the projector which I do not like. It would be better if it is on the side.

It worked great for the first 80 days of ownership. Then it died. There is a WARNING in the instruction manual that says: "This product working voltage is 5V, and it is forbidden to use voltage higher than 5V for power supply". Guess what -- my F150 pickup truck has a 12-volt battery just like about every vehicle in the USA.

This heads up display is so incredibly easy to use. The setup was nothing: just turn it on, wait for the satellite connection and find a place to put it in the truck. Really, it’s that easy. I love that I don’t have to search the instrument panel for what I want to see and that I can keep my eyes on the road while also keeping tabs on my speed. The options for what else you see on the display are good. My only complaint there with this model (the C7) is that I can’t fit three or more on there at once. The auto brightness adjustment is a wonderful feature that means I’ve never had to strain to see the display. The manual has some instructions for calibrating the display if it isn’t agreeing with your vehicle’s speedometer, but I didn’t have to deal with that. It was exactly the same right out of the box. One note about the images here. There’s one panel that talks about multiple colors, but that is not available on the C7, as far as I can tell (it’s not mentioned in the user manual). The manuals is also clear and easy to understand. This is a no-brainer good addition for those of us driving older model vehicles that don’t have built-in heads up displays.
