This is not an amber dish, there's an irridescent film that makes the dish look cheap and like gasoline on pavement

I’m so happy that I ordered this butter dish. It’s really pretty sitting on my countertop. I had been using a plate with a bowl covering the butter, so this is a great improvement! It is heavier than I expected, which is a good thing.

Love this butterdish. Pretty color. Looks great on the counter. Glass has a good thickness. Easy to clean. Knob on top makes the lid easy to handle. Great!
