We kept slipping in the ice and snow here in northern Washington, and so we tried these and holy cow they are almost overkill. They are super grippy, stretch to fit your shoes great and are really easy to put on. They haven't broken yet, but one of the spikes got bent when I stepped on a rock in the snow. That's about it. Otherwise, they are absolutely fantastic.

I am trying to figure out the logic of having the teeth on these crampons be quite so long as the situation where I've wanted crampons tend to be largely navigating a sheet of pretty slick ice. If there is sufficient snow on top that the extra reach is needed after compressing the snow, it seems these might have an added benefit, but for my situation I just don't run into it.That said, the longer teeth are a bit of a weakness, as they are a bendable metal, vs. other options that have less length to the teeth but a stronger less-flexible tooth.In the right circumstances, these might be an acceptable choice, but the quality and durability of these are not the best choice I have found for my situations for dealing with trails that have patches of ice, section of snow, and sections where things are clear.

J’ai acheté ses crampons pour faire des rando à dans les sentiers où il y a glace et neige et des roches sous la neige, j’ai un de 172 livres et que les dents des crampons ont plié, côté sécurité sa deviens dangereux dans une décente de montagne , mon avis ne devrais pas être sur le marché de vente
