The ruler is a perfect size for smaller projects, it doesn’t get stuck in my fabric/table/etc. I like that it doubles as a circle tracer, though it took me a while to figure out that it works better if you stick a pin in the pivot point from underneath rather than from the top.

Bought this because you can use it to assist with cutting binding pieces one over the other. Works prefect. Also, I like that you can use it to cut snowball corners on a block. Buy this and you won't be disappointed. Can also use it to make circles.

I bought this for my mom. She recently has gotten into quilting. She is an amazingly crafty person and this is just another adventure for her that she will do wonderfully with. She had taken a quilting class already and just needed to get build up her supplies.This grid has been very helpful for her and she can use it with other crafts, not just quilting.If you have a large project that will require the same measurements, it is helpful to get the tape that you place on your markings so that you can quickly identify the lines rather than having to find them each time. The tape has multiple colors so you can mark multiple measurements with it at one time.

I'm a specialty ruler junkie but I have to say that the Creative Grids Quick Trim and Circle Cut Ruler is one of the BEST rulers I've ever used! It has multiple functions so this ruler is quite the work horse for quilters. It makes stitch & flip, half square triangles, flying geese, and binding strips so easy to do and they are precise every time! Get rid of those marking pencils! You don't need those any more if you have this wonderful ruler. Using this ruler, my work is now so precise that people are going to think I know what I'm doing when they see the quilts I've made! No matter what your quilting skill level is, get this ruler. You will be so glad that you did! I have not tried to use the ruler's circle cutting feature yet, but my guess is that it works as well as the other features.
