I have not used the hitch yet, but it seems very sturdy.I installed it on 2008 Infiniti EX35. It took me 6 hours.Installation instructions are bang on. However, the holes in the hitch do not line up properly with the holes in the frame. I had to enlarge 4 out of 8 with a quality drill bit and Dremel. Also, the exhaust on the passenger side is now about 1/16th of an inch form the hitch, so I anticipate some rattling :(

Was very difficult to install. We put it on a 2016 Infiniti QX50. Holes did not line up. We had to drill them out. Very hard to get it into position, so having to remove it to drill, and then try to get it back into position was a real pain. That being said, once we got it installed, it’s very sturdy and looks good. It definitely requires 2 people to install. I am giving it 3 stars because it is difficult to install.

Installed on our Infinity QX50, took a little finagling but we finally got it on! We use it to pull our small 13ft Boston Whaler or our Sea Doo! Works great.

This thing did not fit at all. Requires serious drilling and some Dremel work to make it fit correctly. This should have taken and hourish and instead turned into a 4hr ordeal. This company needs to produce products to correct specs. Also on the passage side the flange sticks down so much the exhaust tip is maybe a 1/4" away from hitting it. There's also no need for this flange be this close or hitting the exhaust. You can see in my photo how much I needed to drill out in order to make this thing fit. Thanks for wasting most of my day and making me do a bunch of work just to get this hitch to work

hitch fit the car and mounting holes well. Had to remove the complete rear exhaust muffler. After I installed the hitch, the muffler would not fit.I had to take it to the exhaust shop to had it modified. Still the only option for my 2017 QX50 it works great, just needed a little additional work.

It is a tight fit but the results are worth it. All you see is the little black receiver. I recommend having the car up in the air on a lift. Not for a novice.

Looks and works great once installed, but beware it's a tight fit and can be difficult to install if doing yourself.

I have a 2013 Infiniti EX37 - this review is only for the 11510 and EX combination. This is the only available hitch for my car (attempting to carry a 2 bike hitch rack). Infiniti does not recommend installing any aftermarket product.I ordered this anyway - it is a very well made and nice product... however...Anyone with a little practical engineering experience will notice that you are doing the following when mounting this:1.) Fastening a heavy duty 1/4" piece of steel (the hitch) to a 1/16" piece of steel (the bumper mount)2.) What the directions call the frame is actually the bumper mount, it is not a structurally significant component3.) Altering the way the muffler is attached to the car which may induce noise/vibrationsBottom line, although there are some folks online who have this setup with a bike rack I don't think the car is designed to take the load from a practical standpoint.Very nice and well made product though... I went for a Thule roof rack instead.
