The kit comes with instructions for several Fiat 500 models, and the installation looks reasonably easy for all of them but for the Fiat 500e, since there's no exhaust system to work around, it's even easier.Also, the fish wires are particularly clever and save a lot of time and hassle during installation. I would definitely recommend using a pair of wheel ramps to give yourself a bit more space to maneuver under the c while performing the installation.An extra set of hands would be helpful for one step (initially looesely attaching it to the frame) but in a pinch you can prop the passenger side of the hitch on a milk crate or something while you get the nuts on the driver's side on amd give them a couple turns.One oddity: The passenger side hardware is all metric while the driver's side hardware is all imperial. Presumably this is because on the passenger side there are already nuts welded inside that frame tube that you merely bolt the thing to, while on the driver's side both the nut and bolt come from the kit, but it is a little strange...

Fits 500e. No need to modify anything. Remove the rear grille for better access and you are all set.

I installed by myself on a FIAT 500 POP 2013 - just very easy,Remore the exaust by using W40 or kitchen oil on the holders, then check the nut behind the exhaust just releaset or leave it loose to be able to move the exaust to the side, then drill 3 min, then install the hitch adjust it, put some nut sealer if you want. move back the exhaust then put back the holders, then adjust the nut, and you are ready to go.Installing time no more than 25 minutes if you already watched the videos several times.

installation on a fiat 500e (electric) is straightforward. The only thing that's a minor pain is enlarging the hole in the frame.But obviously no exhaust system needs to be moved etc.Receiver fits under rear air dam and is unobtrusive.
