The clamp simply installs over the shank and hitch receiver tube opening and tightens down onto the connection to eliminate rattling and vibrating. This anti-rattle hitch device is also easy to adjust to ensure a tight fit. It is constructed from a combination of stainless steel and aluminum, and it has a corrosion-resistant clear zinc finish. This anti-rattle clamp fits any standard 2" receiver hitch and is compatible with solid shanks and hollow shanks. Warning: Anti-rattle clamp must be used in conjunction with a properly secured hitch pin.

Curt builds things right and this gem does its job perfectly. Easy to install, and STAYS PUT. Over 2000 miles on both freeways and mountain roads - ZERO issues. Why didn't I get this 10 years ago?

Seems well made. I think mine was once returned. Opened packaging and half the hardware was missing. Oh well, it'll be on the back of my truck anyway
