Works very well for the price. I don't reference the on unit measurements, just dial it in with test cuts.

Right out of the box this guide was a breeze to set up! In only a minute or I was easily ripping a small stack of strips. I am a furniture remaker and I use thin strips for various purposes. This simple tool is a pleasure to use and the shipping was fast at a reasonable price! Highly recommend.

This jig works exactly as expected. In my dewalt job site saw, it slots into the t-track, but on an older general cabinet saw at work, it won’t fit the tracks.Regardless, this is one of the less expensive tools that has worked out really well.

I have enjoyed using my Daydoor Thin Rip Jig since Day 1… I very much appreciate that it has 2 rollers, vertically stacked as well as the metal slides for the saw table groove… The Daydoor Thin Rip Jig tightens to the table securely and doesn’t budge… I’m sure the scales on it could be useful but I measure all my setups… I didn’t give 5 Star only because the horizontal slide nut could be more robust though I have not had it loosen yet… A larger nut or even a second one would make this an unbeatable jig… I would recommend and purchase again..

The overall product quality looks good. However, the parts provided do not fit my table saw track. The T bolts are not big enough and the blocks attached to the jig on arrival are too wide to slide into the table saw track. The description says it fits most table saw but not mine. Now I will have to buy a piece of material and make my own blocks. Not very pleased.

I guess I'm just stupid, but I thought the words "fits standard miter slots(3/4 inch x 3/8 inch)" in the product description meant it fit standard miter slots. It also fits T-slots, but I thought that was a consequence of its versatility. To be clear, this jig only mounts in T-slots.I tried to get clarification on this point by asking a question, but asking questions is not the same as it used to be. It used to be you posed a question directly to a human who had purchased the product. Now, you only get a computer answer. I had asked if this jig only fits T-slots, and the stupid computer (more stupid than I) only regurgitated the manufacturer's text that it fits all standard miter slots. I have to drive 100 miles to return something, so I guess I have a paper weight with both metric and English scales on it.I think I hate the computer age. I don't want to "talk" to computers and when I get into a situation where it is unavoidable, I want clear notification that I am "communicating" with a machine and not a human. Really, companies should be required to disclose that they are using computers for communications, not human beings.

For the price they charge, they could put a 1/32" ruler. I had to buy an adhesive one to improve the tool. What I would really like is a tool like this with a micrometer screw to adjust it to the 1/128".Note that the ruler is not good for absolute measurements. But it is useful for relative measurements. For instance, cut you piece of wood a bit longer than you need. Then, use a caliper to see how big is your piece. Figure out how much it is over size. Then use this tool's ruler to make the appropriate adjustment. When adjusted properly it helps make the same cut over and over with ease and it stabilized the piece of wood for more precise cuts or ripping. You will really appreciate a tool like this one if you use a table saw. In that sense, it is priceless, but still overpriced relative to the cost of making this tool.

It extends far enough for jobsite table saws. The only one I could find that would reach the extra distance from my t-slots to the blade.

This is not the most precise instrument in the world but none of these thin rip jigs are because of factors beyond the ability of this jig to control - such as fence alignment, blade alignment etc. For the price I don't think you can beat it.

I read reviews for several thin rip strip jigs looking for comments regarding my particular contractor table saw, a DeWalt DWE7491. What I did find indicated that they were not a good fit the miter slots. So assuming I would have to modify whatever I bought I focused on the protrusion length of the jig. Even though the DAYDOOR Extended Thin Rip Jig, Table Saw Jig Guide had no reviews I decided to go with it. And it fit my saw perfectly without modification and provided some super thin cuts. On my saw the jig extends to a maximum of 7-3/8 inches from the edge of the miter slot and still hold firm.On the slightly negative side, when I opened the box one of the two bearings was laying loose in the box and the other bearing was loosely mounted. It was a simple matter to reinstall the bearing and snug them both down using the provided allen wrench.I'm quite pleased with the Daydoor jig.
