INSTALL ATION AND OPERATION

  1. PLACE THE PUMP on a stable surface. The pump should be less than 10' above and less than 10' to one side of the water source.
  2. TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE INTERNAL IMPELL Oil the pump with 1/2 tablespoon food grade vegetable oil or mineral oil with each use. Pour the oil in to the water inlet port. DO NOT RUN THE PUMP DRY!
  3. CONNECT THE HOSES (1/2” diameter reinforced hose or larger) For best operation prime the pump by flling the inlet hose with water and put the open end of the hose in the water you wish to pump. With a washer installed attach it to the inlet side of the pump. If this joint leaks air, the pump will not operate. Make the outlet hose as short as possible - 25' or less.
  4. INLET HOSE GOES IN THE WATER; OUTLET HOSE STAYS OUT OF THE WATER. MOTOR MUST STAY DRY. Make sure all inlet connections are tight (no air/water leaks) and the inlet hose is in the water. Make sure the end of the outlet hose is not under water. If the outlet hose is under water, the pump may not work.

Pump works well for transfer purposes and will NOT survive long if run without being flooded/primed for each use. once established, pump transfers reliably but use caution to keep flooded and not leave unattended should source tank empty out. Impeller burns out in housing within 30 secs or so if allowed to continue to run without water flow. Has spare impeller and gasket included

It gets the job done…eventually! But it takes almost an hour to fill my 75gal RV tank.

We boondock and I needed additional water to meet our needs so installed a 46 gal water tank in truck bed. I use this pump to transfer the storage water to the RV fresh water tank. It has worked well for this task. The pump is well made and moves a lot of water very fast; I can transfer all 46 gal to the RV in less than 9 minutes. I power it using a small 110Vac to 12Vdc converter at 12.5 amps. All parts purchased on Amazon. Highly recommend if you need a small 12Vdc water pump.

It’s a good little pump but there is no way it’s going to pump 330 gallons an hour, the first time I used it I time the operation, and in one hour pumping from a four foot head it only pumped 125 gallons, good enough for what I needed it for but not as advertised.

I have a 300 gallon water tank that I haul fresh water from a well by the river. I used this great little pump (with the strainer on the end of a 50 foot garden hose on the suction, stuck down in the to of the tank) and it primed itself right up! Filled the fresh water tank on my travel trailer with no problems whatsoever. And it never did get hot, like some people say it does, and its not all that noisy either! I am 100% satisfied with this pump.I DEFINITELY recommend this pump.

Been using this all summer. Was slept at first. But price was right and it really kicks out the water. I run it on the back of my pick up from a 210 gallon water tote. I shoot it up on top of my shipping container and fill up four 55 gallon drums. Doesn’t seem to lose pressure and goes pretty quick. Have done that several times and still hasn’t drained down the car battery I use. Definitely would get one again

We've been using this pump to transfer water from a pair of 55-gallon drums into our fresh water RV tank about twice a week for the past month. It works like a champ and is certainly the workhorse it's advertised to be. Pumps 25-30 gallons of water from a siphon feed to the pump, which I place on the floor board of my zero-turn mower, up about a 3-4 foot head into the tank in about 5-6 minutes. I use the ZTR mower's battery to operate the pump (saved the cost of an automotive battery and exercises the mower at least a couple of times a week through the winter.) We're in the RV while construction continues on our new rural residence. I'd highly recommend this little pump as a water transfer device. I'm sure it will come in handy for other things once we have rural water connected to our new home. Many thumbs up! Buy it. You won't be sorry.

We initially intended to use this pump on a water tank we have mounted on the rear of our lawn tractor - a great idea to reduce the number of watering buckets hauled around the property. However, after receiving the product, several ideas came to us to have this be a super handy little pump to have for other purposes. It was easy to figure out, and primed easily. The utility of this item makes it quite cost-effective!
