It worked fine and kept me warm for almost a year and a half until I woke up feeling cold and the controller was blinking green. I unplugged it and the pad reset and heated for a couple of days and then the cold and blinking light returned. Reading others reviews the controller seems to be the problem. I have ordered a Westinghouse brand one and hopefully it will work long past a year and a half.

It not only saves my heating bills-- it feels SO good on my old aching bones. I tend to be cold initially, then get warmer as the night progresses... so this is perfect-- otherwise it might sometimes take a few hours to get really warm. I have never had another so I can't compare. I was too cheap to buy one with an automatic shut off, which might be nice-- but honestly, I turn it on 15 minutes before going to bed, and snuggle in while I read for an hour or so, then shut it off and I'm completely comfortable. And it's wonderful for arthritic joints.

Really liked this product. It warmed up evenly and consistently. I was so disappointed it only lasted a year. Not a year of steady use, because cold nights are at most half of the year...but it was great while it lasted.

Bought this for a friend in Florida. Wanted her bed warm before she got in, but an electric blanket was too much. This sheet was perfect.

I have been using this heated mattress pad for several months now. And, overall, I would rate it very good. The fitted sides are designed to fit up to 15 inch deep mattresses, but it also works well for my much smaller 10 inch mattress. The controller is easy to operate with glow in the dark settings indicating the heat settings, and with elevated buttons (easy to find/feel in the dark) for power on and for preheat. The 5 heat settings have been more than adequate. The auto-timer options are very convenient (30 minute preheat shutoff, 10 hour power shutoff). Good cord length. And no problems with using a fitted sheet on top of the mattress pad.The one significant drawback is the location of the plugin module for my full size mattress. That plastic module (where the cord plugs into the bed) is on top of the mattress at the foot of the bed (about 4 inches from the mattress edge), and in the center of the mattress. So, if you are thinking of getting the full size mattress, be aware that you may have to get used to bumping into the module with your feet (depending on how you sleep, and where you sleep on the mattress). For me, the positive features of this mattress pad outweigh that one drawback.

This product is terrific for pre warming my bed before I go to sleep. I turn it on about 10-15 minutes b4 I get into bed and it's toasty warm when I crawl under the sheets. I usually turn it off before I fall asleep. Highly recommended. I am also on Warfarin a lifer, so I'm always cold. This was my best purchase yet. I also keep our furnace set to 66, which saves us a lot of money on our gas bill. Wife has one of these on her cali-king bed. She luvs it also. Comes with a 5 year warranty. How ever our last unit, lasted 10 years. Same brand as this. The cord that has controller on it and that plugs into the wall is plenty long enough. 8ft.

This is the best thing I have bought in a long time. I have really bad arthritis everywhere and it was hard to sleep and get out of bed from the pain when the weather was really cold. Sleeping on this eased the pain in my joints and hips enough that I can get some sleep and it’s much easier getting out of bed in the mornings. I just regret not seeing this and buying it a long time ago! It’s also nice and warm on those cold nights.
