This waterproof mattress cover is light, starts working and heats up quickly. Quality materials are used and makes no noise. It washes well on the delicate cycle.

On many heating pads, you can feel the wire. I don't notice them at all, just padded softness. A simple easy-to-use control. This is the first blanket I've owned where the electrical connection is at the head vs the feet. Well, I haven't bought a replacement in 20 years, so maybe many connect on top. But this was new to me. The only issue, and it's not a big problem, is that the wires come out the bottom and top of the control by design. If you want to rest the control on the nightstand, you have a wire in front of the drawers. For pennies a night, you can be warm and toasty on cold nights. So turn down the room heat and enjoy.

I love heated mattress pads. I have a sherpa one that's routinely used in fall/winter. This isn't as nice as that one in terms of softness though. It's a bit on the thin side but it's more noticeable since I am used to the sherpa one. I like the variety of heat settings on this though! It warms up quickly and it's not got any wires that poke or push while you're sleeping. Overall I've found it comfortable and toasty - hoping this will last a while!

Quite thin, but works well this far. Heats up my bed nicely before bedtime, then I turn it off before I fall asleep - though I could use the timer, of course. I just wish the connector thingy was placed on the side of the mattress, that way I wouldn't have to "sleep with it", it is a little bit in the way as I tend to sleep with my arms above my head.
