My check engine light came on, so I ran a scan and got a code for a very small emissions leak. I swapped out the gas cap first, then moved on to this. I was able to change this out in just a few minutes. It is a direct replacement for my 2018 Elantra and was no trouble at all. Once it was on and all hoses were reconnected, I ran another scan and the check engine light went off.

Looking to install in a 2014 Hyundai Elantra Sport (2.0L). Both Amazon and the Dorman site said it is supposed to fit. Externally, everything matches up to OEM. The internals to the wiring socket is where they dropped the ball. In the picture, the OEM is on the left. The Dorman part has thicker blades. Also the inside of the connection is more rounded which prevents the seal from going into the connector, making it unable to lock. I give it 3 stars for apparent build quality, but minus 2 for being unusable when they claim it should be.

Description (now deleted from product page) listed my vehicle as compatible with this part. Hoses fit but the plastic molding of the electrical clip is very slightly off and will not connect to my cars electrical male. Very disappointing considering both the product description said it would fit my car and Amazon said its a confirmed fit.

Hyundai dealer suggested that this was going to be an $800 repair. Got part quickly, easy swap out using instruction from youtube. Cleared codes et voila!! Been two months now and still good. Thank you!!
