Nice and wide, great holding power but you can remove when needed. All good things.My only issue is the plastic removable film that needs to be removed is bloody difficult to get started and off the backing.I put it down on my garage floor to hold a floor mat, 2 months later it is holding very well. Good product at a fair price.

Haven't actually used it yet but I did check it out and holy crap it's super sticky and crazy strong. It's a bit beefier than I was looking for but I'm sure once applied & laundered it will feel different. I'm still very happy I ordered it and will definitely put it to good use. It came quickly and is excellent size (big cut to fit roll). Very Satisfied!

This generous size role of double-sided carpet tape lived up to its name. It’s extremely strong, held my rugs firmly to the floor and left no residue on either the carpet or the floor when I removed it I will say it’s difficult to cut. Don’t use scissors if you have a razor blade Use that instead and slice straight across the roll. There is so much on it. I can use it for quite a few rugs in my home that like to slip and slide everywhere.

This works excellent, really holds a rug in it's spot. I first usted this for a rug in my child's restroom that is right outside the shower, when i noticed it slips like crazy, so it was an accident waiting to happen. I put this stuff on the bottom of the rug as directed, and it grips like the rug is part of the floor. I even took sort of a run and leap onto the rug at an angle, trying my hardest to make it move, which im sure is not a good idea, but the rug did not budge what so ever.

This tape works well for holding down carpet. There is no doubt! I was skeptical of the claims that it doesn't leave residue so I tested it. This seems to be true. No residue on the carpet and no residue on the plywood I used to test the tape. Nevertheless, I tested on high quality carpet that had a heavy-duty backing and I was able to remove it with no problems. The plywood was another matter. The tape did pick up some of the plywood upon removal. My old home has beautiful clear fir floors that have been meticulously refinished. Clear fir floors are very rare these days and more expensive than hardwood floors like maple. My test did not convince me that this tape can be removed from the clear fir floors without damaging the finish and I won't be using it. I will use on linoleum floors in the kitchen or bathroom and I can use on concrete or for holding stair treads down to the basement without reservation.

I didn't think the roll will be this big and I really love it so I can cut it to size. I already used some on my carpet and it looks as expected. I tape it down first to floor, remove yellow paper and stuck carpet on it. It really does work well in holding it in place even when I was vacuuming. Also, it was easy to remove when I misplace the tape. It didn't leave any sticky residue at all, which I appreciated. I would recommend this for anyone who needs tape to hold down rugs and carpets.

The product is exactly as described. I have previously purchased narrower tape, but it did not hold up well with the high traffic on my floors. The wider design of this tape provides a better grip in those areas.

So this tape is very sticky and holds a rug much better than other tapes I've used, but it was really hard to cut. I couldn't tear it by hand, it stuck to my scissors so much I could hardly cut through and when I did, it left residue on my scissors. I tried cutting with an exacto knife, but I couldn't figure out a smart way to do that either because the tape itself is pretty strong with all the fibers added. So I'd say 10 out of 10 for strength and adhesion, but maybe 3 out of 10 for being "fool proof" because I have no clue how you are supposed to cut it without losing your mind! Lol, anyway, I've had this tape adhering my rug to vinyl floor for weeks and it hasn't budged. So there's that.
