very effective tool for sharpening hooks. Everything passes the "fingernail" sharpness after just a few strokes with this file. The improvement is remarkable.

Nice file with the two different abrasive sides. I rarely use the course side. The file is nice and narrow so you can side sharpen the underside of hooks.

Pros:1. double sided with 2 different grits.2. Grooved for easy sharpeningCons:1. Kinda small. I have big hands and it’s a bit difficult to handle, feels like something my kid would play with…Don’t get me wrong, the sharpening part is big enough, I just wish the handle was larger or wider or both.2. I wish it came on a retractable caribiner like a lot of fishing gear does.

Makes it work pretty good and easily re-sharpen hooks by a couple of movements. Fine side is just perfect for small hooks for ultralight fishing!
