Didn’t work at all. The box had obviously been opened and retaped. I suspect this POS was sent back once already. No I didn’t buy open box.

I use this occasionally. It works well but is not well constructed because its very cheap to buy. If you use a heat gun often, this may not endure heavy use

Bought this to help shape foam for cosplay, it works a treat, very happy with this. Fair warning, the nozzle gets very very hot at the high setting.

This heating gun has a lot of uses in my house. The usual heat shrink wraps are easy. Working to remove moisture from unsealed granite takes longer to "cook", but the Stalwart Heating Gun was up the task. It is a workhorse.

I used this to heat shrink a handful of plastic wiring butt connectors for marine use. the Stalwart heat gun on the low heat setting was just the right tool and was very easy to get at the right distance to properly heat the connectors even for a novice like me.

Tried using two different hair dryers to push a dent out of a plastic bumper but they just wouldn't get hot enough. This thing quickly heated up and got to a much higher temp than the hair dryers. Dent came right out. Planning on using this for many other applications like loosening stuck bolts etc.

I bought this because I make holsters and my dewalt died on me. I needed it next day to get a holster done so I bought this, the cheapest one I could find that would be here next day. I was happy I got one kydex holster done with it. A full year later it just died on me. I’ve made 42 holsters with it. So I’m not even mad it died. It served me well. It has two settings ah that’s nice and SWEET BABY JESUS IT JUST MELTED A DIAMOND… other than that it worked as it should. It never smoked or smelled like others are saying. So take that review as you will.

This is the most inexpensive heating gun that I found to heat up shoe inserts (custom made) for minor adjustments. The shoe orthotics are already very expensive and spending another $100 each time for the podiatrist to adjust them is even more costly. After a few visits I recently got it to try and it works perfectly to heat it up and adjust it a bit. This is a great tool to keep.
