This clamp allows me to use my Nurge square plastic hoops with my Hardwicke Manor Fanny Stand. It was shipped from England to the US, and I received it 7 days from the order date. Well worth the money.

I was hoping this would work for smaller hoops so I could use two hands, but it really isn't for small hoops it make you lean too far to the side if you have it under your thigh. I embroider while sitting on my sofa so the light is best nearest the arm and if I use this between my legs it would work but then it would be too far from the light source.For me this was a waste of money. I have floor stands that work better than this would.

fit's comfortably into Mounting Bracket Clamp, holds multiple size hoops, tilt's and locks to multiple positions and adjusts to multiple hights. I've been looking for the table clamp and hoop clamp for a while. I'm very satisfied with this product.

I bought this to make my own lap stand using cardboard, specifically from a shipping box from an Amazon purchase. The clamp shaft is held in a tube made from poster board that has been glued with corrugated cardboard supports at an approximately 30 degree angle, and it's removable-the base is two 8 by 13 inch sheets of corrugated cardboard glued together. I was able to make holders for scissors, needle threader, glasses case, and a holder for a small lidded box so everything I need for stitching is right there on the stand. I use it with Edmund's half-inch thick mini stretchers, for doing small cross stitch projects on linen. The stretchers I use are 7 inches by 7 inches, I think I could use wider stretchers, like 10 by 7 inches, for rectangular pieces. Very handy because you can flip your work up and back to get to the other side to tie off threads. I can use my lap stand sitting up in bed or in a lounge chair. A very good price for such a well-made, sturdy clamp. Arrived faster than expected from England, in about 2 weeks.

Bought this clamp about a month ago, along with the Elbesee seat frame. I'm using it to hold a 6" embroidery hoop right now. Works great! This is so much better than holding onto your embroidery. After a while, your hand gets tired and hurts from holding the frame. Now I have both hands free. The vertical stick is very stable, as well as the clamp. I can flip up the hoop by loosening a wing nut to get to the back of my embroidery, plus tilt my embroidery to where I want it. Highly recommend.

This great addition to my Elbeesee lap stand will allow me to use the regular scroll frames made of wood, in addition to larger plastic hoops. I have not tested it yet to see if it will hold the Q snaps. For some reason, the table clamp was included in the box, at no extra charge. The table clamp enables non-lap use of the stand and the frame clamp. Like the Elbesee , the pieces are sturdily made of good hardwood, except for the nylon turn knob and the frame clamp. I've only given 4 stars because I don't think it will fit the Q-snaps. If it does, I'll likely change the review stars. BTW, it shipped from UK very rapidly--much sooner than predicted by Amazon.
