Got this for our backyard renovation to put up a retaining wall. It works great! I have never used a tool like this, it’s a bit intimidating and scary at first but you get used to it. It has a safety button you have to press before engaging the tool so you don’t accidentally start it when you’re not ready. This thing tills well! We have compacted dirt and rock and it has done a fantastic job at digging up the dirt!

This is a Review of Electric Garden Tiller Cultivator, 15 Amp, 18 Inch Tilling Width, 8.7 Inch Depth, 24 Steel Tines, 380 RPM, Corded Rototiller w/Adjustable Wheels & Foldable Handle & Safety Switch for Soil CultivationAt the time of Reviewing this its 189.99 . with a 20$ coupon to clip before checkout so 169.99I Mainly got this since i was too lazy to dig then drag my Large Gas-powered Tiller i have in my Shed . to get this new Garden ready for its first grow Season .Pro'sit handled a 12 x 30 garden had it at the second highest settings on the wheels for the entire time i used it today (about 2 hours nonstop use . ) which for something of this cost isnt half bad .yea the soil wasnt compacted but it was unkeeped for 7 years and had small trees growing in it and was 8 feet tall of weeds before i clear cut it with a saw blade on my weed wacker . so it had to deal with all those deep roots .Only once did it jam in that entire use and its when it hit a wet spot and sank down till the frame hit the ground.Con'sthe packaging it came in was abit lacking , the tiller blades on one side had started to break thur the inside shipping box , was in another From being shipped to me . so Double box'd .Directions were missing from mine but its just 4 bolts and 4 screws .I Do Recommend this Item

I like that the tiller is light and folds up to save on storage. In the past, my husband has used heavier gas tillers to prep our garden and they always end up being a hassle. He also hates the smell of exhaust. So when this tiller became available, I just knew we had to try it.Out of the box, the tiller, did not require much assembly and I worked better than expected. We got beautiful rows to plant our fruits and veggies. The tiller kicked up some dirt clots and small rocks so I would recommend using a face shield. We have to be mindful of the cord while using it, but it is a good trade off to keep our lungs clean.My reviews are based on my experiences with the product, not on my status as a Viner. So I’m new to using a tiller and I’ve watched the videos online. This was very easy to use. It seems of good quality. I’m still learning about them but from what I’ve seen online and from firsthand experience using it I think it works as advertised. I think the blades are quality the builders quality. It was pretty easy to put together. I’d recommend it if you need a tiller break up the ground and everything.

I have been working on my garden mostly by hand. When I saw this, I thought it could not hurt. I was able to expand to a much greater space in less time. I am very pleased. The ground is prepared and my seeds have been planted, I cannot wait to see what happens.

I got this to help in our garden at home. The first thing I noticed is that the casing is plastic, the quality of which is still pretty okay, not great. The metal parts are decent quality. The cord is an okay length, but we had to use an extension cord because of how far away from the house our garden is. The cord can be a bit of a nuisance though, and this could be improved by making it have a battery, being chargeable, or being gas powered. Despite bing corded, it's still pretty powerful. It went through our garden with no problems, and we had some overgrown weeds at the time. It seems to go more smoothly and have an easier time if you pull it towards you (rather than push it forward), but I'm not sure how safe that really is. The depth the "blades" turn over is great. The noise level of the machine is a little noisy, but I would say it's still a little less than a lawnmower, as I didn't have to yell as loud to be heard over it as I would a lawnmower. Always make sure to clean the weeds off of the "blades" to keep everything running smoothly (plus it's a good thing to do anyway). Overall, this tiller has been great, but it could be improved by being powered differently and maybe having a different casing.

Works great, easy to use and set up. Light weight and so easy to work in garden. Great gift for my 68 year old mother. She loves to garden and with arthritis anything to help make it easier for her is a win. She loves this and her garden looks amazing.

This tiller has been a great tool now that I’m fully in my gardening era as a millennial. It was easy to set up and use, and it tilled a large plot in my backyard without any problems. I found it works best after a good rain since the softened soil makes the job way easier. Trying it on dry, compacted dirt takes more effort and isn’t as smooth. The adjustable wheels and foldable handle made storage and maneuvering easy. Highly recommend if you’re getting serious about your garden setup.
