Basic pickups with great tones. I like the look without covers especially after I nodded them with copper tape around the outer edges. Nice warm tones with great distinctions for the lows and mid. Highs are bright without being too twangy. One of my favorite sounding pickups especially compared to the factory squire pickups.

The pickups I got weren't as high output as the title or description suggest, which is a bit of a bummer since I got them for an Yngwie inspired partscaster and am not looking for a super traditional strat sound. Mine measure out around 7.8K in the middle and 7.3 in the neck position. That being said, they sound good and the quality you get for the price is good.

First, you could tell the box had been opened, not just opened, but in bad shape from it. Second, there were no Cream covers included, no covers at all actually. Not sure these are even the correct pick-ups that I ordered. Third, the middle pick up had a piece of masking tape across the bottom that had hand written in a sharpie what look like "bad". But it wasn't really legible. So I tested it with my multi meter and it tested ok. After the install I did a tap test through an amp and everything seemed ok. However after stringing it up, the middle pick up only works on the bottom 3 poles. I'm not sure how that's even possible, but it certainly is "bad". How did I get shipped an obvious return, or rejected set of pick ups? Product that fails to comply and be deemed a reject should be quarantined from "good" product. I certainly hope my experience is a one in a million with this brand. Since I already installed them, and threw away the packaging, I'll just replace them in the near future. I do believe had I gotten a legit working set with covers I would have been happy. The 2 pick ups that work sound good. Not amazing, but definitely good.

Test to published specs and is a vast improvement over the cheap guitar standard pickups. Shipped in a nice box with the contents wrapped and easily opened. Who wants parts in a plastic bag shipped with no protection at all? Pickups are marked for position and mounting hardware is included. Good to have that. I am not a fan of single coils so if I am happy with them that does say something.

These pickups have 8.9 to 9.2 ohms as described and no hum sound great in 3 positions 1-3-5 but 2-4 very muddy. Missing Strat sound but if that’s not an issue and better output for your Squier is what you’re looking for then these are for you. I’ve got mixed emotions with them. The more volume and pedal you use, does improve the performance of these pickups. If you’re looking for the strat sound spend the money and buy Fender’s. For under $30 they’re decent and will produce better than most at that price.

Look weird but are a little more than the pickups that were in a Squire Classic Vibe. Gave it a sound closer to a real Strat at a fraction of the cost.

These pickups are very mid-heavy. Not exactly "vintage sounding" but they can sound very nice with the right amp. Make sure you have everything planned out before you install them and once installed, don't mess with them. Like many budget pickups, the leads aren't particularly robust and you will damage them if you mess around too much.

They fit great and in my oppinion are a considerable improvement over the ceramic p/u that are fitted in Mexican strats. They have more bite and seem less prone to electrical buzzing I also like the vintage cream covers. They were well packaged and arrived quickly. Great value. I would definately buy again. (Sorry the photo isn't great)

I love the sound of high end ceramic pickups when called for. I loath the sound of cheap Alnico v pickups. I bought these because of the resistance 8-10 k resistance. Similar to the delux drive pickups. I would say they are just not as harmonic so tone and volume can be pushed to 10. The delux drive has Alnico III and they are like I said a bit brighter. If you want them tomorrow buy from Amazon if you can wait 3 weeks ebay has then for 16.99. The covers are what you see in the picture. Easy install just do one pickup at a time if confused. Its 48 for the neck 50 for the middle and 52 for the bridge . My pickup poles were in the correct polarity as north and south so if you live south of the equator flip the pole pieces you'll appreciate it.

when i got my guitar new from musician friend the bridge pickup was not working after finding out that i had to pay return shipping and a 17% restocking fee i was angry enough to take it apart test the resistance of the pickups and replace it my self. i couldnt do any worse than they did i figured. these pickups are wax potted like the original fender ones were pre 90s and the resistance is exact to the yosemite ones that came in it. I wasnt going to pay the 200$ + that the new fender pickups cost. a pickup is actually a scientific simple thing. not rocket science. so even though these had no reviews when i made my purchase i figured if their claims were true this was a super deal. and it was! my strat sounds crisp and awesome in all 5 switch positions now. nice to see a quality product at a reasonable price.

I put these pickups on a Strat style import. They have plenty of volume and the tone is rich and balanced. The resistance for each pickup was as indicated in the product listing. Easy to install, good quality, great sound, and a very reasonable price. 100% satisfied, would definitely buy them again.
