using this to start camp fires without the need for kindling or overpriced fire starter cubes. This works fantastic, starts any log wet or dry inside of a few minutes you have a fire.

worked like a champ although I wish it had a smaller tube for a narrower flame. Am I glad I got it, you bet , works well

This is a great spot treater, or maybe for use in torch down patches or ice melting. I don't know how useful this is for a big yard. I had the opportunity to burn noxious weed seeds in a 2-acre field and this would not have done it. I ended up resorting to a full sized weed burner for that job.I have also used it to burn out some spider webs and black widows from a garage. This might be unsafe depending on your situation, so it's not a recommendation, but it did work. The long stick helps, but when you tip it up the gas surges and the flame gets bigger and redder. So, it's not really designed for upside down use.The best part about it is that it is very ergonomic. You don't need to bend over to use it, so it saves your back. It's not as powerful as I had expected, but it is still very useful.
