Obviously I bought this to protect my (new) carpet, which I found out after installation is very prone to a backing that crumbles under even relatively light weight meaning that any weight on it (eg furniture etc) will cause irrecoverable dents in carpet. So my 13st sat on an office chair all day was going to be a real problem... I needed a very strong mat to protect the carpetThis floor mat is strong enough to take my weight all day (and at times all evening) with no impact on the carpet underneath. Before I purchased I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough, but it's been absolutely solid.Recommended

I've had the 120cm x 150cm Cleartex Ultimat for 3.5 years now. Its as good as the day it was delivered. I'm 80kg, I sit on a heavy wheeled office chair, wheel myself around attending to tasks at my desk/office space. Not a mark on the mat. No scratches to be seen, no dents, no chips, no slipts at the edges or curling or yellowing. The small plastic spikes underneath keep it sat where it has always been, no movement at all. It's a first class product, looks to last another 3.5 years easily. £52.24 very well spent.

Excellent produitC'est plus cher que les tapis en PVC ou autre matières plastiques, mais c'est largement justifié par les avantages du polycarbonate rigidité, épaisseur, résistance aux rayures, perforations, pas d'émission de polluants volatils, etc.Ne pas hésiter à prendre assez grand.

Saw the effect of not using one of these protective mats when we re-decorated just over 2 years ago. Our old carpet was already wearing but the underlay had been completely destroyed. So bought this as our 1st chair mat in April 2014.The mat has saved our new carpet (and as importantly the underlay) from being badly worn. The carpet still looks as good as new two years on.Sadly the mat started to crack in March 2016 and began to break up today (16th May 2016), but it has done its job and we've re-ordered after 2 years 2 months of protection. My husband uses the mat in his home office and he's not a small guy (17 stone). It's in constant use so we feel it has been a worthwhile buy.Agree with the comment about wheeled chairs having a tendency to run away on it at first but you soon adapt, and it's easier to move across the room on this than on a carpeted floor.

Brilliant. I bought mine because I had broken many chair castors by trying to slide my chair over carpet - not a good idea. However, this has completely solved that problem because my chair just glides easily now. I have turned a small spare bedroom into a crafting room and the mat almost covers the empty floor space so I can sit in my chair and just slide to wherever I want - now everything is within easy reach [honestly, a godsend when you have a disability]. The mat hasn't budged an inch since I put it down ages ago and shows no sign of wear at all. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.
