This is a great little radio. The sound on the 2 inch speaker is very good… much better than other portable radios. The rechargeable/replacable button top 18650 charges at 300ma meaning it’s safe and not harmful to the battery. MP3 playback is excellent on a microSD or usb flash drive. It does not remember position within a long mp3, but will remember what mo3 file was playing when turned off. Charging is via a usb-c cable. Bluetooth seems good with good sound. I do get an occasional dropped connection but it is infrequent and doesn’t bother me. Am and fm selectivity is good. The led light strip along the bottom only displays in mp3 mode or Bluetooth. It’s actually quite nice. The solar panel is okay to keep the battery topped off but I tend to use it more as a kick-stand. I like the size and heft of the radio. I had my doubts when I ordered it but have enjoyed it so much I bought a second one.

I just received mine and it's currently charging. To Steve, the one who had wrote a 1 star review because the radio wouldn't charge... mine didn't want to charge either. I couldn't figure out why, because the Charging light wouldn't even come on. I found out why. Open the battery cover. There's a piece of plastic on one end of where the battery sits. Take that out and make sure the battery is inserted right, then try to charge it. That's what was wrong with mine.

El radio me pareció muy práctico, fácil de usar, con muchas funciones y opciones como la carga solar, la bateria recargable, la posibilidad de usar baterias D y la perilla para sintonizar manualmente las estaciones.Lo que no me gustó es su calidad de audio, la bocina carece de graves (no se porque dice X-Bass si de grave no tiene nada) al subirle de volumen es muy "chillón"(agudo) y se distorsiona.Cuando lo conecto por bluetooth la música suena como si fuera radio, incluso se llega a escuchar un ligero ruido de interferencia, si te gusta la fidelidad del audio entonces te decepcionará esa parte.Aun tengo la duda si cuenta con protección para la bateria recargable, no se si lo pueda dejar cargando sin que se dañe la batería.En conclusión, me parece un excelente regalo para los adultos mayores con muchas funciones fáciles de usar pero le hace falta mas calidad en el sonido, quizás un equalizador de dos bandas (grave/agudo) hubiera estado genial.
