This is junk. Could not pick up any shortwave and even local am FM came in poorly. Returned for full refund .

This a great little radio at a great price. It takes a little time getting use to it and learning how to use it to get good reception. I perfer the included telescopic antenna. It works good on the FM and Shortwave bands. It does take a little time to learn how to use this radio properly but that is part of the fun. The display is awesome and very easy to read despite it's small size. I had another brand of this type of radio and had lots of problems using it. This one was easy to use once I learned all the functions and capablilities.
