I like to remove the gas from my garden equipment over the winter, this siphon pump works well to extract the gas into a spare gas can.Much better than sucking a mouthful of gas through a siphon hose - yuk!

It works as presented. The tubing is quite small, some less than the 13mm claimed in the blurb, maybe 7/16" or less for the inside diameter, so it siphons very slowly. Well made for the price point but buy with a view towards larger diameter like 3/4" diameter

Recieved it and I was missing parts. The bag was opened and a few parts were missing. Not happy

This comes unassembled but very easy to put together though there are no directions.1) install the longer tube to the ball intake, secure with clip provided2) Install the short tube to the other end, secure with clip provided3) Install the brass fitting and pinching clip into the receiving end.4) Insert the longer tube to your source and the other into the receiving end; then start pumping the ball until the gas flows.Used this to remove old fuel from my pressure washer.I wasn't certain it was going to work, but was surprised how well it did actually work.Just make sure what you're siphoning is higher than the container it's going into, it says it would be 11" higher than the source.Just pump the ball few times to get it initiated it will then start flowing smoothly. Pay attention to the arrow direction on the ball for proper flow direction.- it's a fresh twist on the traditional approach of sucking air from a tube to begin siphoning, but without the risk of gas in your mouth.

The hoses are pretty small on this siphon so if you're planning on transferring more than a gallon or so it will take some time to move through this smallish hose. I got it to empty out my generator, which is too heavy to tip over, but it would work well for atvs or motorcyles. The hose is bigger than the drain hose on the tanks of these and should go much faster. Inexpensive and a good value

Overall good. The squeeze ball and accessories are really nice to have. The accessories help to hold it on the lip on the gas can along with a shutoff valve and I'm assuming a brass connector that I can use the weight down the end that I'm sticking in the tank. Along with 4 gas line clips. The clear fuel line (I really like clear in a siphon) is stiff at 60degrees F. Not sure about warmer temperatures, but I live in New England and its only getting colder. Its stiff enough that there are kinks in the hose from the factory. This is typical of these siphons, so the included accessories will help manage the hose stiffness. I will probably just replace the fuel line with the yellow brand name super nice fuel hose.Overall still a good value.I hope this helps someone.
