This kit has everything you need to get started with gel printing, and the tools feel good quality. The plate works smoothly, but the paints included aren’t the best—they’re a bit thin and don’t have great coverage. Still, the kit is fun and useful for beginners.

This is a great kit if, like me, you've been curious about the art of making gel prints! Comes with everything you need to dip your toe in, so to speak. It's all "entry level" supplies, but for the cost, it's really a great deal. I tend to try & frequently decide art mediums are just not quite "the one" for me - so it's perfect for that. Also easy for adults or children that can be trusted with paint.

The gel plate itself is fine.However you will need to know enough about gelli printing in advance to make the kit work for you. So I suspect this would be frustrating for a beginner.I don't quite understand the barren - I've only used smooth ones, but this one is bumpy. Maybe that's a technique I'm unfamiliar with, but also maybe they just chose the wrong style to include here. Nonetheless, you may have better luck with a spoon.The roller (brayer) doesn't have great rolling action. I would recommend Speedball instead. In fact, most of the items here are on the cheap side.I'm not unhappy with the kit, it has some nice things - the cards, the box carry case,, the paints - are all adequate and just fine. But I probably won't be using these tools.

I'm so impressed with this gelli printing kit. It has everything you need to get started if you are a beginner and contains some great tools for advanced gel printing enthusiasts. The kit contains several different colors of paint, a nice quality brayer, a texture tool, paper and, of course, the gel plate. I have several sizes of gelli plates from the smallest to a 12x12 plate and this 5x7 inch size is my favorite. You can set up on pretty much any flat surface and start printing in minutes. I highly recommend this kit for everyone, especially beginners.

You get what you pay for and unfortunately the price still doesn't match the quality. This kit is not what I was expecting and it doesn't work like it is supposed to.

I’m not sure how well it works yet, but upon arrival it was a mess. The yellow color was missing its lid and there was paint exploded all over the kit ruining several cards. I’m not sure why there was no lid. Unfortunately it is a gift and I didn’t have time to return it for a new one. Hopefully my daughter won’t mind too much.

I've been wanting to try gelli plating and this is the perfect kit that has everything you need. The kit itself is very nicely put together, quality products, and well thought out.The presentation is nice and compact. It's fantastic that they give you a box to keep everything organized and all the pieces together.The current price point is $35.00 which is an acceptable price for everything that you get and definitely in line with similar products on the market.
