Does the job. Old product had tabs for easier install and seating of the wires. This one is fine.

I've had to replace those name brand weather resistant outlets before because they failed when they came into contact with the slightest moisture. I was hesitant to buy this item because the price was so much lower than other name brands that I trusted and was accustomed to buying. Unboxing, I was pleasantly surprised that the outlet came with a white face plate and its also tamper proof. Time will tell how well it performs in moisture conditions, but for the price it beats paying 2 to 3 time more for the name brands that end up being replaced.

I cannot recommend this brand at all. Looks nice, but looks are deceiving. The Screws that anchor HOt and Common Wires DO NOT BACK OUT, which you need to do so you can wrap the wire around the screw before tightening it down. If you try to back the screw by continuing to unscrew it, it falls out and the screw-plate inside the GFCI falls away inside the unit, so you can't get the screw to thread back in. VERY BAD DEISGNUPDATE: MY BAD -- I received a notice from the seller that the wires are not suppose to wrap around the screws like older designs. In this design you simply insert the straight tip of the wire into the back of the GFCI then tighten the screws. MUCH EASIER. In the diagram that the seller sent me, attached, you can see it clearly.
