I bought this Godox transmitter to trigger an off-camera Nikon speed light attached to a Godox X1 receiver. The transmitter fits onto the hotshoe of my Nikon D500 dslr. This combination works perfectly at up to 15 feet apart (I haven’t tried any farther). Batteries remained charged after several days of steady shooting. Product was recommended to me by professional photographers. Manual is very fine print and not entirely clear, but there are online videos that will get anyone up and running in minutes.
