About this item

  • TRUSTED. PROFESSIONAL. RELIABLE: Thousands of seasoned audiophiles have relied on G2 cleaning fluid as their choice maintenance record cleaner for nearly a decade. When you come across a stubborn to clean LP that traditional cleaning methods can’t treat, G3 Two-Step Record Cleaning Fluid is the solution. We’ve taken our beloved G2 Record Cleaning Fluid and boosted its cleaning power! A higher concentration of surfactants means a deeper clean while still protecting your precious classics.
  • FORMULATED TO SAFELY CLEAN VINYL RECORDS: G3 Cleaning Fluid is formulated with just five ingredients. All safe for PVC vinyl. State of the art detergents dissolve and suspend fingerprints and other oily grime. Special emulsifiers suspend dirt and dust particles in the fluid to be easily wiped away with one of GrooveWasher’s microfiber cleaning pads. G3 also works great paired with record cleaning machines.
  • TRIPLE TREATED PURIFIED WATER: The purified water carrier solution for all G3 Cleaning Fluid is triple treated. This water is laboratory grade, carbon filtered, double deionized and UV light treated to ensure every spray is clean and anti-static on contact. You won’t have to worry about any existing static build up on the record after cleaning your vinyl record collection with this professional grade record cleaner. The only thing you’ll have is crisp, clear, optimal sound.
  • WETTER THAN WATER: With some record cleaning solutions, you are getting water and cleaner. With Groove Washer’s G3 Cleaning Fluid, you are getting a solution wetter than water! Each bottle contains a super wetting agent that reduces the fluid’s surface tension to dive deep to the bottom of the microgrooves. When you spray G3 Fluid on a record you’ll see the difference as it spreads down into the grooves for a deep clean.
  • TWO-STEP CLEAN: With the extra cleaning power G3 Record Cleaning Fluid offers, a final rinse with distilled water or our special GSR Super Rise is necessary. Our proven GrooveWasher two-step cleaning process is guaranteed to clean your dirtiest records. If you aren’t completely satisfied with the G3 & GSR two step clean of your vinyl records, return it to us for a refund.

Product Description

When you clean a batch of records (10? 20? 30?), this is the record cleaning solution for you! Manual or Vacuum. Get after it!

This listing contains:

  • G3 Two-Step Record Cleaning Fluid Mist Spray (8 oz bottle)

The G3 Fluid cleaning process requires a rinsing step. G3 Fluid has a higher concentration of surfactants than G2 Fluid (which doesn’t require a rinsing step.) Distilled water works for the rinsing step. However, our GSR Super Rinse is better! GSR is "wetter than water" with super low viscosity to break the surface tension to reach the bottom of the microgroove to lift and remove any remaining G3 Fluid and grime.

G3 Record Cleaning Fluid is designed for heavier vinyl record cleaning needs. It's the same vinyl-safe formula as GrooveWasher’s one-step G2 Fluid but with increased surfactant concentration. This special concentration offers greater cleaning power for extra dirty vintage records.

Prefer vacuum cleaning machines to clean your favorite vinyl recordings? The Two-Step Bundle (B0C2BR2MY6, sold separately) gives excellent results for vacuum cleaning machines and manual cleaning methods.

At GrooveWasher, we 100% stand behind the quality of our products and believe once you try it, you will too. Thousands of our customers already do.

Been using this for a few months to manually clean/wash new/used LP’s i get. I would avoid trying to use the spray tip, it’s pattern is very wide and a lot of product gets in the immediate airspace. I transfer it to a smaller squeeze tip plastic bottle and that gives you a lot more control when manually cleaning. (No overspray on labels etc). Its been cleaning LP’s well and ive been using a distilled water rinse & vacuum dry to complete the process. A but labor intensive to clean LP’s this way but if you’re only cleaning a few LP’s a week its a great alternative to an expensive Ultrasonic machine..
