I am so happy with this seed! It is the first I have found where my budgies don't waste most of it by tossing it out of the feeder. No waste, and they love it!

It’s been so hard to find parakeet food that contains only seeds. My birds will not eat those red and green artificially colored pieces in my current brand and I’m so glad. I feed them organic veggies, fruits, and grains twice a day in the form of chop and I just want pure, clean seeds to supplement their food. This brand appears to solve that issue and my budgies eagerly enjoy these seeds. They love to hop back and forth between the chop and these seeds and truly enjoy their meals. So far I only have a positive experience, so I’m going to recommend and continue to buy this brand. It’s a good value for the money, too.

This is a good, clean, parakeet seed mix. Without any useless junk birds never eat. Packaging was strong with no holes. It arrived in truly excellent condition. Will order again!With higher tariffs, I would suggest buying more to avoid potential significant price increases!!! Price went up!!!! Second shipments just arrived. Again no issues! Very pleased with order!!!

We LOVE this product! No artificial flavors, no numbered dyes, it’s perfect for my babies! I decided to order 2 packages this last time but unfortunately one arrived damaged. It looked like a possible box cutter accident where it was sliced/punctured right in the middle of the bag of seed. Thankfully the other bag was perfectly fine so my babies have seed for the time being. I assume this was due to packaging/transit and not the actual sellers fault. Either way thank you for making an awesome product that I can trust for my parakeets, cockatiels, and conures! My animals health is my number one priority and a high quality seed is the base to those goals!

I have always bought this brand for my budgies. Never have had any problems with freshness and never have had bugs. Nice and clean I can stand by that as I buy it every time. I've used this brand for yrs. It's totally worth the price and my budgies don't have problems with it. I recommend it.

my budgies will eat this one more than the other brands I offer them. There are never any "other" things in the bag like some other brands (like rocks, other seeds, other things than seeds or bugs!). They are fresh, and contents has a pleasant smell.I store them into a glass jar rather than re-use the bag, I find the bag tears too easily. (and I do not want any mice/bugs to start hanging around the cage looking for a free meal).when I empty the cage and clean up I throw the "debris" (husks the birds spit out and the seeds they throw on the floor), into the garden for the outside birds. Be careful! these seeds are not always irradiated, so they can grow plants! I put all the seeds into the same spot and I have millet and other beautiful plants growing wild there. It is nice (as long as you plan it). I used to throw them out on the gravel driveway (got weeds growing before I realized it was my fault).I buy them regularly, and have always had great quality.

I wasn't sure which brand of seed to buy for my budgie, but I've always know about the good reputation of Hagen, so I decided to buy this brand when I saw it. I'm certainly glad that I did, because my budgie really seems to love this food, even preferring it over her budgie treats and millet; after reading the back of the bag I am not surprised! This food is full of absolutely everything that wild budgies seek out in the wild, and has the pleasant smell of oranges. My budgie seems happy and looks very healthy too - I am going to go out on a limb, and say that most budgies would enjoy eating this seed mix, and I highly recommend it - my budgie loves the seed, and I love the price and reasonable bag size!
