Works as it should. Isnt the most sturdy feeling, but it being made of plastic i dont think it should be. its not a workout item so it shouldnt need to be either. ive used it a few times now and it seems to register the grip strength properly. the extra bands and stuff are a nice little bonus for buying but are nothing special overall. as i stated, it does what it says it just looks kind of cheap.

I picked this up because my wife started to have concerns that she was losing grip strength in both of her hands. A while ago, I had given her various exercises to help improve it, but she never really stuck with them. I figured if I got this grip strength tester, she could at least establish a baseline and decide if she wanted to work on it from there. Once I tried it myself, though, I became a little obsessed with seeing if I could improve my own grip strength. The device itself is well-designed, with an easy-to-read digital screen and an adjustable grip, making it comfortable for everyone in the family to use.One of the features I really like is the ability to input basic information like gender and age, which allows the tester to estimate where you fall on the strength spectrum. Spoiler alert: my wifeโs grip strength turned out to be perfectly reasonable for her demographicโso was mine, and so were our kidsโ. Still, I wouldnโt mind seeing a result someday that says my grip is stronger than expected. To that end, the device includes a few training tools, like resistance bands and a finger exerciser. The bands are fine, but they donโt feel particularly challenging, and the finger exerciser reminds me of something a guitarist might use to improve their fretwork. Iโll probably stick with my own grip-strengthening exercises and just be more diligent about doing them.Overall, this is a great tool for getting a snapshot of your grip strength, whether for personal curiosity, sports training, or even rehabilitation purposes. Itโs easy to use, seems to be fairly accurate, and provides a fun little challenge to try and improve over time. The included exercises might be useful for some, but they werenโt compelling enough for me to switch from my usual training methods. That said, I appreciate having the data at my fingertipsโitโs nice to know where I stand, and if nothing else, it has sparked a bit of a friendly competition in my household. For the price, Iโd say itโs a worthwhile purchase for anyone interested in grip strength, whether youโre just tracking progress or looking for motivation to improve.

This product works great. I use it to track my progress in grip strength over time. My wife and sons also use it since it can track many users.

I am very happy with this purchase, ships fast, product looks nice and easy to use. Just need to insert the batteries and set up the Gender and Age then it's ready for the test right away. You are also able to set up 19 users on this device so the whole family or sport team could share. I have another grip tester and the results are almost the same but this is overall a much better product. Fully recommended!

The gym I go to doesnโt have any specific machines or equipment that focused just on forearms and grip. Iโve purchased other grip strengtheners in the past, but this one stands out by far. I am able to see my progress and track it, and it works well! Great value. Definitely a must for those that want to build strength in their forearms and grip!
