Spout is heavy and nice looking but came with part missing. Our contractor called Hansgrohe directly who finally agreed to ship it. Now we are waiting for the part to arrive which has held up our project. I intentionally purchased from the manufacturer and not a reseller to prevent this problem because my experience has been that a lot of resellers sell second quality merchandise/returns on Amazon that they must purchase at a discount and often parts are missing.

This spout reduces a 3/4 inches outlet from the IBox into a 1/4". Takes over 30 min to fill up a standard tub. Difficult to install. The plumbing spacing need to be very precise.The connection is not secure no matter how much I tighten the hex screw on the bottom.

It's an expensive spout but when you take it out of the package you know why. It is very heavy and solid. There is no doubt it is solid bras as described. Most other spouts are fairly light and probably use some combination of metal and plastic with a chrome finish. If you want the confidence of a spout that outlives you then that's the one. Most other Hansgrohe products are of the same quality. The only exception I have experienced so far are the trims. They are also of high quality but the faceplate seems to be of some kind of plastic rather than solid metal. I suspect they have a reason to take this route considering the otherwise very high quality.

Looks nice but where the spout connects to the round plate does not feel secure. Maybe my installer did not install it properly...

I got this with the iBox and shower control with diverter. I like the aerator effect and the tub fills fast with the iBox valve and control. There is some depth adjustment and didn't have to get the pipe length in the wall perfect.

Use this for a new free standing bath tub with rectangular shape. It pours water stream with slight angle. It does not come vertical to the ground but about 10 degree angle. It is better for my tub since the tub can be slightly away from the wall. So far I do not have problem.
