Per instructions "if you use a 2.4G wireless keyboard and mounse, please plug it into the front of the KVM. IF YOU USE A BLUETOOTH WIRELESS MOUSE YOU NEED A BLUETOOTH RECEIVER TO CONNECT TO THE KVM."Are you fing serious.

This was my husband's first time setting up and using a KVM. He was a little surprised at the level of cable management that it added, but as long-time KVM user, I told him that is normal for any KVM setup and this one is quite minimalist and small compared to my older setups. He has a tiny home office desk and a single monitor and switches between two desktops, a 2022 Dell XPS 8940 and a 2012 Mac Pro tower running Mac OS Mojave. It gets the job done. It takes 4 seconds to switch from Mac to PC, and 7 to 9 seconds to switch PC to Mac (probably due to the speed of the computers themselves). In both cases vastly superior to what he was doing before - manually unplugging the USB and HDMI cables. At first he didn't think he'd need the supplied remote dongle, but after the spaghetti of cables added under his desk it was clear that it was a much needed quality of life element. I have to take one star off because of the bright LED light that never goes off. And there is no on/off switch to turn off. So the bright LED in our bedroom is a slight annoyance. It came with two USB cables, power cable, and remote cable. So you have to provide the three HDMI cables to hook up to the computer and from the KVM to the monitor. We can't attest to the longevity of this product, but it is definitely working well and getting the job done for now.

Died shortly after, I may have gotten a bad one but I'm not in the mood to gamble on another.

I’ve been using this 8K HDMI KVM switch for a few weeks now and I’d say it’s an okay product that gets the job done. The switch itself works pretty well; I haven’t run into any serious connection issues so far. It’s been smooth switching between my two computers and the video quality is top-notch. I’m using it with a 4K monitor and everything looks crisp and clear. The switch handles the higher refresh rates well, which is great for gaming and video editing. The build quality is decent. It feels solid, and the wired remote is a nice touch. The inclusion of the 12V power adapter and USB 3.0 cables is appreciated since you don’t always get those with other switches. It was easy enough to set up, too... pretty much plug-and-play, which is what I was hoping for. However, the big downside for me is the price. This switch is significantly more expensive than other KVM switches on the market and I’m not convinced it offers enough extra value to justify the higher cost. Yes, it supports 8K and has all the bells and whistles, but most people aren’t using 8K yet and there are cheaper options that will work just fine for the average user. I feel like I paid a premium for features that I’m not really taking full advantage of.So, while the product itself is fine and does what it’s supposed to do, I’m knocking off a star because I just don’t think it’s worth the price tag. If you’re okay with spending a bit more for the latest and greatest, then this might be for you. But if you’re looking for value, you might want to consider other options.

I have not yet had the opportunity to test this at 8k, but at 4k I have two computers hooked up to a projector and can switch between with the push of a button. I can do this right on the box or using a wired remote switch. The box is metal and seems to be well-built. Everything is pretty simple to plug and play. The light changes color when you switch source computers and it never goes off.Someone complained about it not having an on/off switch... that is not even a thing on these kinds of devices!Someone else complained about the price... maybe don't buy one that is 8k-ready then? You will always pay more for better quality or an up to date product! This is a decent 8k product for the price.

Slow USB on this, but it's not really like you should be attaching mass storage devices to this and switching back and forth so it doesn't matter. Switching between Macs was a bit slow, but not a huge issue.

This is suppose to be an average KVM switch when I purchased them. My plan is so I can use my laptop from work or my desktop for gaming easily without too much hassle. I can resort to using multiple cables since most monitors supports multiple input but I have to invest in keyboards and mouse that can switch receivers and will end up being more expensive than this. This is in an all metal case with the switch on top with a lit indicator with different color for 1 or 2(input). Came with two usb-C cables and the 12V power adapter. Not a big fan that it does not come with HDMI cables but I have some extras. I am not using this for 8K. Not even 4K, just 2K widescreen and is able to do it at 100hz. No difference with the image quality compared to being plugged directly. Switching takes like a second but it is more due to the PC's sensing the changes in output and input. Also came with the remote for switching and it came with its own indicator. Can't complaint, maybe a bit pricey.
