It is super simple to use and heats up fast. It has taken any task I have thrown at it, even the off-books ones, like shrink tubing. It has been great to have around and it came with a battery connector that has been great while working away from a plug.

This product is sold a a fpv drone soldering gun. However, the stock tip will not work. Someone said get other tips but I’m not that savvy. They also said contact us with any problems or questions but where and how? Maybe it is a good soldering iron but not without other tip options and not without being an expert to know which other tips will work.

SO happy I bought this and a pack of assorted tips. It made soldering a much more enjoyable experience. The portability makes it incredibly useful.

I like its portability and that I can use my lipid with it out at the flying field. The only detractors that it comes with the knife blade soldering tip when I want either a fine tip or a large tip. So I bought a couple of extra tips for it. You might want to make up a simple wire stand frame or even make one out of an empty aluminum can to hold the tool when hot.
