I think it's a good variety with the dried chick peas and cinnamon sticks but my birds are so picky. Seems like they do like most of it though

This is a high quality mix that I’ve re-purchased several times, and will continue to do so! There are no annoying tiny filler seeds (milo, millet or quinoa) that get ignored anyway, and my green cheek conure loves the safflower seeds. There are also no sunflower or peanuts, which are like fatty junk food apparently. I love that it is filled with tons of fruit pieces (with no brightly dyed rock hard pieces) and a variety of interesting treats like cinnamon sticks. The mix also smells great! I attached a photo of the bottom of the bag— you can see there is a lack of broken pieces and dust, and the variety of the mix runs all the way to the bottom of the bag, rather than a few fruit pieces that float to the top and run out halfway through the bag, like other mixes. Of course I add fresh veggies and fruits into my bird’s diet, but my conure loves this so much and there is very little waste and the ingredients are great. This food is made for bigger parrots, but I just halfway crack open down of the larger shelled nuts with a hammer and break the cinnamon sticks into smaller pieces and it’s perfect for my green cheek conure. Please continue to make this!

All the reviews about this being mostly safflower and tiny seeds are definitely true, but I bought this basically for the herbs and vitamins that they use (which ARE very good). I mixed it with other, larger foods that I buy. My parrot likes it well enough. I'll probably buy it again ... eventually. Meh.

Very pleased with this mix. No dust is a huge plus. No fillers or additives (peanuts, corn or sunflower seeds). Just high quality ingredients. I love seeing no synthetic vitamins or sulfites. Wow! It’s like a dream come true... heathy seed mix that I can use to supplement my macaw’s healthy diet. I can cut back on the use of nutriberries (which aren’t that healthy per ingredient table) and offer my bird a coffee scoop of seed; mixed in with her fresh veggies and fruit... to fulfill her instinctual foraging needs. My macaw really digs this seed mix. I highly recommend this quality product!

My African Grey loves this! She eats a well rounded diet of fresh vegetable and fruits, as well as Lefeber Nutriberris, and organic nuts. When I added Higgins Celestial Blend Mayan into the mix, whoaaaa! The amount of discarded food in the bottom of her cage diminished markedly. The product is fresh, with a really nice variety in the mix, including several full cinnamon sticks for her to chew and explore. She enjoys 'foraging' around to find her favorites first, but then proceeds to eat most of what is left. I have repeatedly and unsuccessfully tried to add in other brands of bird food mix into her diet. This is *the* first that she just absolutely loves. I keep the bag in the freezer and am very pleased with the quality!

I typically feed my birds a pelleted diet supplemented with fresh fruits and veggies but I am a firm believer in adding variety to their diets and mimicking what they would eat in nature. I first saw this bird food advertised in a magazine and was intrigued by the claims of seeds, nuts, fruits, bee pollen and herbs and thought this would be a good addition to my birds' diet. I have bought all four varieties (Celestial, Ti'kal, Veracruz, and Yucatan) and feed them to my parrots every few days, mixing up their normal routine. These foods have different textures, unsulfured fruits, no added dyes or chemicals and the birds love it! I keep the bags in my fridge to avoid bugs (seeds and dried beans can sometimes get pests) and with 6 parrots it still takes me about 4 months to go through all the bags. The verdict: Two wings up!!
