Product name shown is different than the bench?Weight limit in advertising says 600lbs. That's what I needed.Box and manual indicates 300lb limit... I weigh 230.Gonna be difficult to get buff with tiny dumbbells.

This bench arrived fully assembled and ready to use! It is perfect for my small home gym. I can't believe I went this long without it.

This is very nice little bench. Long enough and good enough for a good workout. Very strong and looks great. I just purchased a smith machine and this bench works wonders. Not too big for the bench workout but small enough to move around. I would recommend this to anyone!

The Ad reads in very bold type 600 LB capacity. I put it together last night and went to register it and on the cover of the manual it says .. 300 lb max. While at 61 years I dont intend to get near 600 lb max load it did give me a sense of security. However .. according to the attached photo .. its misleading.The Luxuriously padded top cushion is absolutely not luxuriously padded. The top deck is 1.5 inches and remember that includes the backer board which appears to about 3/8" thick. I am 173 Lbs and I was doing presses with 2 ten lb dumbells and I sunk right to the particle board backer like there was no padding at all. You can simply press with your finger and get roght to the bottom of the padding.I dont know if all the fold up benches are the same but this has a central rib that the bench deck sits on. it is attached to the deck with 3 screws into threaded inserts. The problem is the backer board is really thin and make of ??? So you had better make sure you dont lean to hard on either side and confine your exercise to just the central part that rides on the support. DO NOT attempt to do tricep dips off of either side because it would be real easy to pull those inserts out and cause injury.The one good part. The steel bits seem to be well made. There is no wobble and it is solid when you try it out. Its to bad the steel frame is attached to a garbage upper deck and the weight capacity was deceptive.

I was able to put it together myself, and I am not inclined to build anything.. Instructions were good but just lacked identification of 2 pièces. Nice size and does not wobblé , mine is sturdy. I did havé to use a wrench I already owned because I did not havé thé strength to tighten thé bolts with thèse pictured tools.
