While this replacement outdoor temperature sensor works as a replacement for a faulty Honeywell C7089U1006 sensor, I have a couple of observations:- The temperature fluctuates a lot (goes up or down by 1 degree every 30 to 60 seconds). It will say 40, then half a minute later it will say 39, then half a minute after that it will go back to 40 and then up to 41. This is a sign of cheap electronics. My OEM sensor that came with the Honeywell VisionPRO 8000 NEVER did this.- Second, this is an obvious aftermarket sensor. There is nothing wrong with that, but this listing leaves the impression you are getting a genuine Honeywell sensor. The insulation on the wires is a bit thinner than the OEM sensor and there are no silk screen markings of the model number anywhere on it like there are on the OEM sensor. There is also no mounting bracket like the one that would come with a genuine OEM sensor.All in all it seems to be working for now, but I am not comfortable with the temperature fluctuations and I think this listing is cleverly worded to imply you are getting a genuine Honeywell sensor, which you are not.
