This unit is super quiet! I think it's overkill for what I need it fir, but I figure I'll likely upgrade to larger tanks as I get more into the hobby, and I can make better use if it as time goes on.I'm quite pleased that it's so quiet and I'm able to turn down the flow to suit my smaller tanks.

Pros - Super quiet, good ( not great ) pressure, clean design and relatively small.Cons - Died/Broke after thinking it was okay leaving it on overnight. ( Not sure if this is able for overnight use or if my item was defective. )FYI-- I'm ordering a replacement once more to give it another chance, because I like this pump that much.

I purchased the Hygger 5W/10W on October 25, 2024. I began using the air pump on about December 15, 2024 in my 40 gallon aquarium on about December 15, 2024. It worked fine until February 1, 2025 (about 1.5 months) when it stopped working! Consequently, I do not recommend purchase of this product.

I bought this airpump to (hopefully) replace one (different brand) that wasn't performing very well. I FULLY expected to be disappointed in the Hygger too. BOY was I wrong! Great airflow even on the lowest setting. And it's very quiet too! LOVE IT!

Great pump. Extremely quiet. Runs my 65 gallon with ease.My only reason to not give a 5th star is there's no power level indicator. It would be nice to have a LED to show if you are at 1/4, 1//2, 3/4, or full power.That's just my opinion.Even so, I'll be buying a 2nd pump this spring for a pond build.Well worth the money.

I was sure at first about purchasing this pump even after the mostly positive reviews. but I've to say this pump is amazing its very quite and has a very strong flow I plan on buying this pump for all of my aquariums.

its very powerful, runs silently definitely a great buy. I got it on sale but, even at full price this would have been a bargain. Absolutely, the best aquarium pump I have ever encountered!! Do not hesitate BUY IT NOW!!!

I was using a Tetra whisper pump, it was quiet but didn't have a whole lot of power so I upgraded to this pump. Wow, this pump is just as quiet if not quieter than my whisper air pump and puts out way more air even on the lowest setting. I use it to run 4 Ziss fluidized bed filters in my sump. I just set it up so I don't know about reliability yet, but I will update this review as necessary. I am extremely pleased with this Hygger pump so far. I really hope it continues to perform. I do think I would like a dial to turn the power up and down as opposed to the touch function though.
