Great gift for that person who loves to grill. Also a great white elephant gift. Everything folds out for easy use. It's lightweight and easy to clean. All around cool gadget.

This is so cute! I love it. We do camping, and I always hate bring the good stuff with us, so this is perfect. It comes with it's own carrying case, which you can hook on a belt, or a bag. The spatula is removable from the rest, just make sure when you are putting it back on you have it the right way, because there is a notch of the spatula that holds it together when not in use. It has some weight to it, so it's not cheaply made. I don't know if this is a feature or not, but I was able to pull off the brush. I mean if you need to replace it I can understand. Going to be a nice Christmas gift for my husband.

I call this my "swiss army spatula". And much like a swiss army knife, it's surprisingly useful, but not as good as dedicated tools are.You get a belt holster that holds a set of grill tools which fold up to about the size of a kitchen knife. The tool set comes apart into two pieces. One of the pieces unfolds into a metal spatula with a notch that can be used as a bottle opener, the other of which has a two-prong grill fork, corkscrew and a silicone basting brush which can be folded out. But the fork and the brush fold out the exact same way and overlap so you have to fold one in to use the other. As individual toolsThe fork is sharp and the tines curve inwards for better gripThe basting brush is silicone for easy cleaning, but therefore almost useless for actually basting. The spatula has tapered edge, making it better if you need to scrape something that's started to stick, but the head/face of the spatula is on the small side -- meaning that it's not really ideal for turning larger burgers. The corkscrew is just slightly larger than the one on my actual swiss army knife. While I love this for the novelty, it's not going to replace my full sized individual grill tools. It's not quite light enough for me to carry as part of my camping mess kit -- but I'm a bikepacker and my space is therefore extremely limited -- I can see how it could be useful for other types of camping. So this is going to be a backup grill set at home and I'm going to bring it along whenever I'm invited to anyone else's bbq.A couple of minor gripes:* the holster seems to be thin nylon, and is unlikely to last for very long if actually used as a belt holster during camping or other strenuous activity.* the pegs that attach the two pieces back together interfere with folding the spatula back in and vise-versa. This is hardly a deal breaker, it just takes a minute of fiddling with things double checking to actually get it all back together and folded up.But despite those, it's still great value at 8 bucks. I've had just as many gripes about grill sets that cost 4 times this price and didn't come with the novelty factor.

At $8 I wasn't expecting much from this tool set. I was pleasantly very surprised. The metal on the fork and spatula/flipper are very thick and sturdy without making them bulky. The head of the spatula, while smallish, is sufficiently rigid to hold up to steaks and pork chops, though it takes a bit more graceful maneuvering than a larger spatula. The meat fork is also a surprise, and has a better shape than the ones I'm accustomed to--the tines point slightly inward, which so far seems to actually do a better job of holding onto cuts of meat when taking them off the fire.Because this is a camping tool set, and everything ever made for camping must necessarily include a bottle opener, there's one built into the spatula head. This will be handy if I ever lose all 937 other bottle openers built into all my other camping gear. The corkscrew is nice--I don't often take corked beverages with me in my camper but this does open up the opportunity to do so! I mean that in all sincerity. I'm already thinking about a nice fermented cider for my next camping trip in my travel trailer. As another reviewer mentions, this basting brush has the longest reach of any standard kit I've owned. I don't know why so few other grilling tool sets realize this, but fire is hot. The less contact your hand has with it, the better. Every grill basting brush should be this long.Lastly, one other nice touch is the carrying case. It's a decent ballistic nylon, and is actually shaped properly to hold the tools (flared outward at the top to accommodate the spatula head). The velcro is very strong.I honestly have zero complaints for $8. It blew away my low expectations. If I could add anything, it would be some way to make it into tongs, but I can't imagine getting that feature in an $8 package when everything else here is such good quality.
