Your cart is empty.This is a Inswing Exterior Threshold. The size is 5 5/8 inches x 72 inches. This is a Mill Exterior Threshold, the Color is SILVER. This is Raw aluminum, not a finish. This threshold has a COMPOSITE CAP and COMPOSITE BASE. The Composite Base is the full length of the threshold. Our Thresholds are Uncut Uncut- means the Length is untirmmed to allow the Customer to cut down the size they need. The untrimmed size is normally around 74 inches. The COMPOSITE Cap is Adjustable, it looks like a Oak Finsih.

Needed a new threshold for an exterior door that gets pelted with rain. Old one rotted out because of the wood base. This one has no wood, no worries about moisture rotting it out.

Had to trim a little to fit my door but it cut well with a miter saw. Installation was easy, I glued it to the concrete of my garage floor. Very sturdy, looks really nice.

I'm new to the DIY community. After my due diligence I settled upon this product. It was very easy to work with from a cutting perspective and fit perfectly. It's a solid composite piece, covered with a steel finish. It's not wood so it should not swell or rot. I wish the finish was black. The glare is a problem, so I will need to paint over it. Other than that, it is a great product!

My old wooden threshold was totally rotted. Ended up leading to some damage to my subfloor. So, when I installed my new floor I needed a new threshold for my french doors as well. This one was perfect. Really easy to install. I just cut it to size with a mitre saw and put into place using construction adhesive. The best part being that since it's composite I won't have to worry about this one rotting out on me.

The one I received was about 74.5" long which was key for me as my opening was a bit over 73". I had read they vary in length which is a bit odd to me, but glad they come long in order to be able to trim for a 6' opening. It cut fairly easily and installation was straightforward. You just pry up the adjuster piece and put your screws through the composite material. I was going into concrete and had intended to use expansion anchors, but ultimately decided blue screws were sufficient. My one concern is how well the laminate type finish will hold up over time. A little disappointed in the $16 delivery fee, but I guess I've gotten used to delivery fees being factored into original pricing. Not sure how this fee would work if it was returned.

The company offered help if needed. All directions were provided online, so I called to be sure I understood the directions. I called and I received a person pick up the phone and the office manager answered all the basic questions. I asked if something may pop up and the office manager forwarded to the project manager who said it was basic and he offered a couple of things that may help since I would need to be trim to fit. All worked great! We had a few major rains since and all is well. (By the way, the delivery was a few days earlier than projected!)
