The M-D Heavy-duty Deluxe Aluminum Threshold features a vinyl seal for protection from drafts, moisture, dust and insects. This threshold can be used with a new door or to replace an existing threshold. All of the hardware needed for installation is included. Before installation, the threshold can be cut to a desired length using a hacksaw. To best seal your doorway, this product can be used with a door sweep.

Deluxe low threshold with vinyl seal. Made with heavy duty aluminum and vinyl for long lasting seal and durability. Gives all season protection against drafts, moisture, dust and insects. Vinyl strips on base provide a weather-tight seal against floor. Standard finish 3-3/4" wide, 3/4" tall, by 36" long.

Fit my door very well. A few minor adjustments and it was in. Putting the rubber seal in place was a bit difficult.

Easy to cut to the right length if you need to. It did not take very long to install it and it has helped keep the draft from our garage coming into our house

Got this to replace a 40+ year old threshold. that had kind of gone flat in the middle where is gets stepped on. Many, many years of traffic will do that to aluminum. This was a good replacement, probably as good as the original and with a much better vinyl seal. Some designs improve over the years, and the newer seal is much better than the old one ever was. Just make sure you order the exact replacement height. It was easy to trim the length with a hacksaw.
