I bought this to add freon to my car, it worked great. The gauge is easy to read and worked perfectly for adding freon.I would definitely buy again.

worked fine but no instructions. one tip if you have an ac can with a self sealing valve like i did with the $15/12-oz johnsen's one from harbor freight. screw all the way in to puncture the can and then back out the screw 1 turn to get it to flow properly. don't just keep backing it out or it will self-seal. i'm use to the camp stoves that puncture the can so this one was a bit different and took a hot minute to figure out (pun intended) $0.02

This seems to be a well-made product. However, it does not fit my Honda Odyssey and is therefore useless to me. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a Honda trick to force you to use their mechanics, but I have no evidence of that. Specifically, the low-pressure nipple on the Odyssey is 11mm in diameter. It's hard to measure the inside diameter of this device, but it seems to be about 10mm, too small to fit.

The newer cans have a rubber seal that plugs the can when the dispenser is removed. Hence, you'll need to use this dispenser the opposite way as you would normally.1. Puncture can completely.3. Continue screwing the can as far as it will go.3. Turn handle a TINY bit the opposite way. I mean, like 1/10 of the way.4. Listen to a hiss and look at the gauge. If no hiss follow step 3 or step 2, but you'll need to jiggle the screw until you hear that hiss. The can will become noticably lighter.
