This does not come with a power cord which is stated in the ad. But at least provide a strain relief for a 14awg power cord. Strain reliefs are not in your typical catch-all drawer. Haven't powered it up as of yet since I need to go hunt down a strain relief.UPDATE - 03142025; after locating and purchasing strain reliefs 7N-2 which are for a round 14-2 power cord I had to take a file to the cable housing for the relief to fit. The cable housing needs to be made more "harry-homeowner" friendly. Thank goodness the fan does work.....

I used this to vent a small (4'x4'x4') generator shed. Even with dual air inlets it didn't move enough air through the enclosure. I ended up just leaving the door open.

This review is for a fan I purchased recently for $59.99 I now consider it a great value. The fan was simple to install in the side wall of my house. To cut and frame a hole in your home's wall you need basic carpentry skills. The wiring is very simple, but if direct connecting to your home's electric you should have a qualified electrician do the work. I took the basic approach and wired an extension cord to the fan's connection wires. Simple black, white and green. I plug the fan in to turn it on.The fan is industrial in appearance and described that way in the ad. It's a workhorse that will work for a long time to come. It's said to move 1800 CFM which is a lot of air. It's relatively quiet. We installed this in a wall behind our refrigerator to draw hot air out of the kitchen. This causes the cool living room air conditioned air to move into the kitchen. The temperature dropped 10 degrees in just a few minutes of the fan operating. Simple, powerful, does what the ad says it will do. All the attributes of a five star product.
