I like this charger a lot. It charges at a moderate rate that avoids battery damage by overheating. I have lost a number of batteries from chargers that push the limits of speed resulting in a very warm battery, swelling and lower capacity. Once a lithium battery swells get rid of it for safety. There were over 200 lithium battery fires in NYC in 2022, typically during charging. It is a good idea to avoid chargers that claim to be “fast” because because that will generate more heat. I compensate for the moderate charging speed by having a few more batteries and I know they will have a longer life. The charging display is handy. The sliding contacts don't always stay put so I tape them to insure they are always perfectly aligned.

En un principio, pensé que la unidad y las baterías estaban malas. Las baterías no cargaban o retenían carga. El cargador no daba indicación de carga. Estuve probando todo por varias horas, sin ningún resultado positivo.Ya era de noche, cuando decidí empacar todo, para empezar el proceso de devolución. :-(De momento veo una especie de resplandor en los polos de las baterías. Descubro un pequeño y casi imperceptible pedazo de plástico que tapaba los polos de la batería, y había sido puesto en la fábrica.Con mucha dificultad, logro remover dicho plástico. Entonces encuentro que las baterías tienen carga (50%) y el cargador, no sólo lo indica, sino que procede a cargarlas sin problemas.Al momento, he usado el cargador para cargar la batería de mi teléfono Nokia (Para probar la capacidad de carga)No me ha dado más problemas desde entonces.

I was very pleased - I got more than I expected. I found this just looking for a spare battery - didn't need the charger too BUT when I saw it was a smart charger with a charge progression display - I was all for it and the additional spare battery was nice too. THEN when it came I saw it also had an external USB port so it could also be used as a charger for other things AND the charge progression indication functioned for that too - which I considered a real plus!! I didn't notice this feature in the description - but maybe I missed it.The only thing I could wish for was a bit more charge current - I understand it being a 1.3 A charger to charge the 1.3 Ahr battery its made for at the recommended 1C rate - but since it DOES have the external charge capability a full 2.4 A charge capability would be "icing on the cake".This is a GREAT product that I highly recommend - I'd buy it even to be used ONLY as a USB charger!

These batteries and charger have exceeded my expectations. I use them in a Bluetooth speaker for outings. Batteries are better than the original.

The charger works fine. My only criticism is keeping the negative/positive contact points in the correct position. A plus is it has a USB port so I can charge my smart phone also.
