Simple, easy to install. Functions better than expected. Used it in my 1955 Bel Air roadworthy race car that now has become somewhat of a daily driver. I'm now less concerned with leaving it in a parking lot. Remote works well and came with the batteries installed. Since the car battery is locked in the trunk I generally leave the windows down knowing it can't be tampered with. Well worth the cost for me knowing the car is less likely to be stolen.

A must to save the battery in your vehicle. You can remotely shut off power to your battery with the remote controls. This is super easy to install and is good quality. Excellent value for the price!

Works great. Hook it up press off turns your battery off. Lock your then press off on the key fob. I say that because I pressed the off but but hadn't locked the doors first so doors could be opened with my car key fob. I has a dash on board display and when you get back into your car you will have to turn light back on the dash on board display. Also the clock on the display showed the incorrect time but after driving a while the time on the clock went back to the correct time .

The unit works very well, it is easy to install and the remotes require no programming. I appreciated that the batteries were already installed and that the remotes both worked right out of the box.I installed it on a BMW X5, which has the battery located in the rear of the car under the spare tire. There is not a lot of room in the battery compartment, but I managed to tweak the metal enough to get it to fit - though not perfectly as you can see from my photo. Depending upon your vehicle, the device may be a little large to fit, so make sure you have ample space around your negative battery terminal. If my battery were under the hood, the digital readout would be a nice feature to have, though because my battery is under the spare, this readout is not something I will be seeing on any regular basis. The installation itself is simple and straightforward, and the remote range was acceptable within 20 feet of the car. I will also point out that the remotes for this one did NOT interfere with another I have installed on a different vehicle, which allows me to know that even though the remotes on both devices are nearly identical, they are operating on different frequencies - at least in this particular case.Bottom line: A little bulky but works well for its intended purpose.

works perfect easy install took about 10 min. Range for control is really good. Like the fact that cuts all power lights and such but leaves enough room to not reset my stereo again. Easy anti theft device! buying three more

I ordered the Lizekm Kill Switch to install on my Jeep Wrangler, to add an extra layer of antitheft protection. I have installed similar battery disconnect devices on my other vehicles and they are a terrific way to deter theft. The Lizekm Kill Switch goes a couple of steps further, by providing voltage drain protection and a display that indicates the current battery voltage level. The ONLY complaint I have about devices like this is that they cut all 12 volts, so you lose radio and clock settings each time you use it. Otherwise, they are well worth the investment of adding one more thing that a thief would have to figure out before stealing your car.

I use these battery shut off/kill switches on all my cars. Depending on a top mounting post or side mounting post to determine which one I need for my battery. This one was perfect for my 2011 Honda Fit. Took less than 10 minutes to install. Works great and worth every penny. I like this one because it has the shut off button at the battery post as well, so it will save the life of my battery. This is made well. The remotes are easy to use. On button to start, and off when you aren't using your car. Very fast. Pleased with the switch and gives me a sense of security for my Honda.

Built really well and performs just as expected. I've used generic simple kill switches in the past. I go out of town for work regularly, and sometimes for over a month at a time. Kill switch is great for me so that I don't come home to a dead battery. I like it from a theft deterrent aspect too. With our modern cars over laden with electronics, it's common to have parasitic drains develop, and hard to trace them. This is a very good solution for that too.Whatever your need for a kill switch, a remote one like this is very much worth the extra cost, because it adds almost no extra time or hassle to using it. With barely an extra thought, you can disengage the battery after locking your doors remotely, and re-engage it with the push of a button before using your remote unlock. With a manual switch, one must open the door with the key, pop the hood, go to the engine compartment, flip the kill switch back on, and then get back in the car. It becomes tempting not to use it!On top of the convenience factor this kill switch has the added benefits of being well designed and built, with well thought-out adjustability as to how it configures to connect to the battery for good fitment, depending on the space available in the battery compartment.I think the convenience alone is worth paying more for a good kill switch, but I would not have recognized that until I experienced it. What pulled me towards this one was a couple of added technical benefits: that it will disconnect from the battery automatically if the voltage goes down below a threshold that would prevent starting the car. That's a great feature. The other feature I love is that there is a low current that stays connected always, keeping the computer from losing codes, fuel economy, radio presets in most cases.I've employed this on a Honda CRV that requires a security code to restart the stereo after the battery has been disconnected. I still have to do that, unfortunately, if I've used this kill switch, but I believe that's because it is a security feature, and not because this kill switch is doing something other than what it's intended to do. I have verified that if I completely disconnect the battery, I lose my fuel economy estimate and any codes in the computer, but with this kill switch installed correctly, I do not lose those- only the radio security code (and that's just a six- digit number; I'm not losing my radio station presets). The remote fobs also seem to have a nice build quality and work great right out of the box.I'm quite happy with this device.
