There are a number of this type 12V remote kill switches and they have identical remotes. The main differences seem to be in the front panel, and while this one has three LED indicator dots, others have a LED display that shows voltage.While operation is straight forward and pretty much self explanatory including programming of the remotes, what I'm still not getting is how the voltage range operates, because a lot of times I can't shut off the kill switch after turning off the vehicle.Even though after a while it works as it should, it's still a mystery to me how the voltage regulation range actually works, and if there's a way to change it to prevent it not working when I need to.

Using this to kill the battery connection on a car we rarely drive to preserve the battery. Installed pretty easily, and seems to work well. The module itself seems solidly built and durable.

This battery kill switch is great. I'm using it for an offgrid project to remotely control a 12v battery. It includes all necessary hardware and two remote controls (a big plus). It's fast and easy to install, and the functionality is exactly what I need for my project.

Everyone needs one of these. If you are in an area where there are high car thefts or no car thefts you can use one of these. They are cheap, easy to install and once installed it makes it extremely difficult to steal your car. It would be possible to still steal a car but the time necessary to do so will scare off most thieves.Take your time and you will have your kill switch installed pretty quick. You can hook it up to any 12 volt battery and once installed you given two remotes that can be used to kill the switch. There is a button on the box that can be used to turn the item on and off.This works. It stops power from going to your car. You can not start your vehicle once this is turned on. If you are looking for a decent, easy to install that can be gotten on a budget check this one out. It works great and it will give you peace of mind.

Awesome remote control immobilizer setup. This is exactly what I want for multiple vehicles I own, that would be easy to steal without a key etc. This can be installed in any vehicle with a 12v battery, it functions well and is a nice compact size so easy to install and conceal.It feels durable, comes with two remotes and also has manual buttons on the face as a backup - keep this in mind where you install it.A+!
