Excellent. I needed to add a battery cut off switch to my jet ski. Everything else I found is designed for car batteries or requierd extra cables to interface. This fit the battery screw terminal and the existing cable lug with no issue. Install it on the negative terminal.

If you turn the knob to the disconnect position, the power is still coming from the battery. You have to totally unscrew the knob and disconnect it from the device, then the power is disconnected. This requires you to insert the screwed knob into the device to then complete the electrical circuit when needed. It still works this way, but I thought it would be like the quick disconnect devices with the green knob used for cars whereby all you do is back the green knob back to interrupt the current and not have to take it apart to useit.

This is very good! What would make it great is, to be able to turn it once to the left for off and once back to the right for on. The unscrewing and screwing is a little bit of a pain, but it works on our 570 Ranger

This worked perfect for my needs. I needed it for a jet ski to shutoff a slow power leek and it works great. It is the perfect size for the marine battery needed for the jet ski.Nothing about it i didn't like.
