Good stuff. I used this for my old 10,000 winch and it work perfect.. I put it under the hood which was better then putting on the winch like the company did.. I tried to put it back the same, darn near got it. But then I looked at myself and said hey fool you would have been done sooner if you would just put it under the hood. I did . So sweet. the extra cable they gave helped me out big time. Thanks

Update: Seller reached out and offered a full refund for problems with switch. It's nice to see them standing behind the product!Not for outdoor/wet use as stated. I doubt it would last on a boat. I had it on a lawn tractor and it malfunctioned after a few months. I suspect the internal contacts were corroded but there is no way to open up the housing to clean them. Troubleshooting was made more difficult because it would allow voltage through, but only a tiny amount of current. It would probably work fine inside a water protected vehicle.

I grabbed this to use as a battery disconnect in my golf cart but unfortunately I ended up surface mount switch. This not. This one must be mounted through the surface.NOTE: It does not come with a support bracket so the material you mount it through should be fairly stiff.The switch it self is beefy. It has a very strong tactile "Click" when switching positions. I did use the cables though. Very well made 4 AWG multi-strand copper (I know because I shortened them).If this switch has the footprint you need, I recommend it! Solid switch with great cables included..
