There are a good number of butterfly kites out there in the same marketing segment. This one is a little bit different with the bright orange and yellow shading. It makes it stand out and I really like it. The quality of the kite is okay. It uses the standard rip stop nylon and fiberglass poles. The pole structure is typical for a butterfly kite: two spars that help stretch out the butterfly's lobed wings. There are streamers off the rear lobe. I would have liked a better storage bag (this one is cheap plastic) and a swivel clip on the string.

Made of solid material. My daughter drops this one the rocks and tends to drag it, but it doesn’t rip. The framework isn’t bad, and it doesn’t seem to bend beyond it holding its frame. Also, it seems to well with catching and staying up in the wind. Only one complaint and that is the streamers flowing behind it. They ripped off fairly quick.

Have purchased many under $20 kites over the years as our kids grew up and now even enjoying watching our grandkids live to fly them. This is a small kite that is good for a younger child. The material is good for light to moderate sustaining breezes and its size makes it manageable for even our three year old grandchild. You will want to help with getting it airborne and then let them hold the lead line to feel the thrill of the kite flying. Perfect for when big brother or big sister is flying a kite and the little brother or sister wants to fly one too.

Got this for my son for some spring kite flying. Easy to put together, comes with string, and stood up to some decently strong winds.

I got several kites for my nephews and nieces, and my niece really loves this one. Very colorful and well built. My niece ran down the beach dragging it through the sand, and it held up well. After the winds picked up, she flew it for hours, until it was time to go home.This kite lived to see another day!
