I've tried many brands and so far this is my favorite. Cuts sharp and smooth through the heaviest braid.The landyard is genius to keep them from bouncing out of the boat and the sheath is perfect for bank fishingHighly recommend these to any avid fisherman

Why 3-stars? Because of false advertising. Overall is well built, however it did not cut my j-braid fishing line like a hot knife through butter. Cuts paper like a hot knife thru butter, yes…but already have plenty of those. IMO it’s worth $6-8 if you want to entertain it for whatever reason.

I can't believe I have been fishing without these my whole life. I used to use needle nose pliers to cut line and get hooks out. But after trying these there is so much difference! These cut through braided line like it is nothing. You never have to struggle to slice in the right spot.The other really nice thing about these fishing scissors is the carabiner and easy slip on belt holster. It allows you to keep the scissors close but also not worry about losing them when you accidently drop them. I am glad I decided to try these ones out.

So on my never ending quest to find a pair of fishing scissors that actually work I came across these Kracken Bass fishing scissors. I liked the look of them as I have fairly large hands and decided to give them at try. Now that I’ve got a few weeks fishing with them now, I can say these are hands down the best fishing scissors I’ve ever used. The fit and finish are incredible. They cut braided line better than any other scissors I’ve ever tried. The price is great and the build quality is excellent. They come with a nice carrying holster to protect them as well. Super impressed with them. Highly recommend. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.
